FOUR ATENEO STUDENTS WIN TOP PRIZE IN IIBD INT’L CASE COMPETITION

FOUR students from the Ateneo de Manila University bagged the Gold Prize at the 2022 IIBD International Case Competition.

FOUR students from the Ateneo de Manila University bagged the Gold Prize at the 2022 IIBD International Case Competition.

The team of Regina Mae Yu, Joyce Heidi Ong, Jeff Nathan Mearns and Julianne Co beat four other universities in the global finals to snag the top prize.

Co was also awarded Best Presenter of the Final Round.

The group was mentored by James Soriano, Gabe Sin and Tim Fandino, who served as their coaches.

The theme for this year’s competition is “Investing in Global Health for a Sustainable Future.”

Since 2021, Ateneo has not missed a final round appearance in the competition and has always placed in the top three teams.

Joining ADMU on the 2022 podium were the University of the Philippines Diliman and Thammasat University in Thailand, which won silver and bronze, respectively.

Rounding out the finalists are the host institution, Hong Kong Baptist University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.
