FIL-CHINESE CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE TURNS OVER NEW CVSU SCHOOL BUILDING

THE FEDERATION of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. donated a new school building for the Cavite State University Imus to accommodate more students.

Key FFCCCII and CvSU officials signed a deed of donation for the project earlier this month.

Philip Lee Tiak Him of FFCCIII donated the building in memory of his mother, Madame Lao Lai Wing.

The building was constructed under the “Operation: Barrio Schools” project of the FFCCCII and the Cavite Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce.

The school building construction program was made possible through donations from FFCCCII members and organizations, families, and individuals in the Filipino-Chinese community.

To date, the FFCCII had constructed and donated 6,200 mostly rural public school buildings nationwide.

FFCCCII is an umbrella aggrupation of 170 Filipino Chinese chambers and diverse industry organizations nationwide led by President Dr. Cecilio K. Pedro.
