/ 16 October 2023

THE FAR Eastern University strengthened its commitment to make the school a safe space for students by rejecting any form of harassment.

The university vowed to give priority to the protection and welfare of the students.

“We recognize the need for safe spaces and a conducive learning environment. We have zero-tolerance for all forms of harassment, bullying, and disrespectful behavior,” FEU said in a statement.

The school encouraged victims of harassment to contact their assigned deans, Academic Affairs Office, and the FEU Gender and Development Desk.

It gave assurances that the reports submitted to them will remain confidential and will be treated with respect.

“Your courage in coming forward helps us build a stronger and a more inclusive community,” the university said.
