STUDENTS of the Far Eastern University won first place in the recently concluded 41st PAMET-PASMETH Interschool Quiz Show organized by the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, Inc.

The FEU team is composed of BS Medical Technology students Catherine Joy Alcantara, Marwin John Andres, Jeffrey Ortega and Heloise Vergara.

They competed against over 50 teams from different schools across the country.

“The win ended FEU’s championship drought in the PAMET-PASMETH Quiz Show, which the school last won eight years ago,” the university said.

The group was coached by Department of Medical Technology faculty Kerfelcel Retoriano, Rene Dinglasan and Andrei Ramos.

Organized in 1963, PAMET Inc. is a national body with 46 provincial chapters nationwide and one international chapter, PAMET Singapore. It has more than 13,000 members.

The organization is also linked with the Department of Health, Professional Regulation Commission and Commission on Higher Education.
