FEU STUDENTS WIN IN 2022 GLOBAL REVENUE MANAGEMENT CHALLENGE

TWO students from the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management of the Far Eastern University won in the THE-ICE Global Revenue Management Challenge 2022.

The GRM Challenge unites students from across THE-ICE network into teams in an innovative and exciting format that will test and develop their hospitality and tourism revenue management skills.

BS Hotel and Restaurant Management students William Palma III and Danica Beltran were part of the winning teams.

Palma was part of Team 10 that placed first.

He was with students and staff from NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences, Lyceum of the Philippines University, and Singapore Institute of Technology.

Meanwhile, Beltran was part of Team 9 that copped second place.

Beltran’s group received free registration to the CAHTA program offered by STR SHARE Center and free registration to the HBA Certificate program offered by Russell Partnership Technology.

The event organized by the International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education attracted more than 60 students representing nine institutions.

The participants were grouped into international and inter-institutional teams.

The top team was awarded AUD$1500 study bursary, free registration to the Certification in Advanced Hospitality and Tourism Industry Analytics program offered by STR SHARE Center, and free registration to the Hospitality Business Acumen Certificate program offered by Russell Partnership Technology.
