FEU STUDENTS JOIN INT’L SUMMER PROGRAM IN TAIWAN

TWO tourism students of the Far Eastern University joined the 9th International Student Summer Program held at Hungkuang University in Taiwan.

Jay Jomar Geroza and Learah Grace Magboo participated in the 14-day summer camp along with other students from Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Spain, Columbia, and Canada.

Geroza represented the entire international student participants by delivering his closing speech.

The HKU Summer Camp provides students a venue to interact and promotes Taiwan’s culture, language, and food.

They visited notable attractions such as Gaomei Wetland, National Palace Museum, Taipei 101, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, National Taichung Theater, Fengjia Night Market, and Sun Moon Lake.

“Hungkuang University is honored to have welcomed FEU students JJ and Learah to our summer program. Witnessing their enthusiasm for learning and the connections they’ve formed with international peers reaffirms our commitment to fostering global educational partnerships,” Tiger Tien, dean of HKU’s Office of International Affairs, said.
