THE Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management of the Far Eastern University partnered with Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd. to implement academic programs in the field of tourism.

A memorandum of understanding was signed last month between officials of FEU and Cathay Pacific.

FEU ITHM academic managers led by Dean Harold B. Bueno and Associate Dean John Lester F. Tuason graced the ceremony.

Representatives from Cathay Pacific included its head of sales, Chinkee Bayaborda, sales manager- trade, Jomher Duenas, and account manager-trade, John Carillo.

The partnership covers internship, tours, immersion, and other joint projects.

The initiative will allow the university to explore the aviation industry and further develop their competitive edge as aspiring global tourism and hospitality professionals.
