THE Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management of the Far Eastern University emerged victorious in two tourism and hospitality student events held earlier this month.

FEU-ITHM bagged first runner-up overall in the 8th International Tourism and Hospitality Students’ Convention and the 3rd National Tourism and Hospitality Students’ Skills Olympics.

The school also secured significant victories across various categories, including Convention Planning with gold and bronze awards, Travel Vlog with gold and bronze recognitions, Hotel Product Presentation with a bronze accolade, Destination Marketing with a bronze award, Travel Feature Article Writing with a silver distinction, and Travel Infographics with two gold awards.

ITHM Dean Dr. Harold Bueno said the participants proved their skills and knowledge in various competitions, solidifying their passion for the tourism and hospitality industry.

“The result of the competition will serve as a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students, inspiring them to continue pursuing excellence in their chosen field,” said Bueno.

The two-day event was attended by over 900 tourism and hospitality students and educators from across the country. It was held at the University of Baguio.
