TO BOOST its internationalization projects and collaborations, the Institute of Arts and Sciences of the Far Eastern University partnered with Universitas Ciputra in Surabaya, Indonesia.

A memorandum of agreement was signed by officials of the two institutions earlier this month.

“The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Dr. Michael M. Alba, FEU President, Dr. Rowena Capulong Reyes, FEU IAS Dean, and Dr. Burhan Bungin, UC-SCMB Dean, and Dr. Ign. Ismojo Herdono, UC-SCMB Communication Science Department Head,” FEU said.

The collaboration will pave the way for the institutions to implement projects such as academic programs in workshops and exhibitions and guest-lecturing.

The deal includes student and faculty exchange activities and cooperation in research in the fields of the arts and sciences, among others.

Reyes delivered a lecture titled “Do It Right: Immersive Engagement on Social Media” to senior Communication students of the Indonesia Mass Media class of Dr. Cosmas Gatot Haryono as part of the agreement.
