FEU LAUNCHES INT’L WORK IMMERSION PROGRAM FOR STEM STUDENTS

THE HIGH School department of the Far Eastern University launched its International Work Immersion Program with HungKuang University in Taichung, Taiwan for Grade 12 STEM students.

The five-day program will be conducted from July 23 to 29.

It aims to immerse students in science and technology areas such as computer-aided 3D modeling, flying air drones, virtual reality experience, safety measures, and environmental engineering.

It also includes cultural exploration to various educational destinations such as the National Science Museum, Taichung National Theater, Gaomei Wetland, along with Mandarin lessons.

“This program not only exposes our students to advanced, state-of-the-art learning of science and technology but also empowers them to make significant contributions towards the progress of our country. FEU High School remains steadfast in preparing students for both college and work,” Bryan Cabuenas, STEM Coordinator, said.

The IWP is one of the course requirements for graduation by the Department of Education.

FEU High School is also set to introduce International Work Immersion for its other academic strands in Vietnam.
