THE INSTITUTE of Tourism and Hotel Management of the Far Eastern University partnered with the Department of Tourism and the Laguna Tourism, Culture Arts and Trade Office for internship programs for Academic Year 2022-2023.

Under the partnership agreement, the DOT and LTCATO will train the students on how to apply the theories they learned in school to real-life situations.

“Additionally, it will help students further hone their 21st-century skills to boost their employability,” FEU said.

“ITHM continues to strengthen its industry partnerships and linkages with reputable professional organizations to give students a valuable internship experience,” it added.

The DOT promotes and develops the local tourism destinations in the Philippines while the LTCATO is in charge of creating projects and strategies for the development of the province’s tourist attractions. It also promotes the culture and heritage of Laguna.
