/ 27 May 2023

TWO universities in Metro Manila postponed the conduct of their admission tests in anticipation of the impact of Super Typhoon Mawar.

In a Facebook post, the Far Eastern University said that its College Admission Test scheduled on Saturday, May 27, will be deferred.

“Due to the inclement weather, the FEUCAT scheduled tomorrow, May 27, 2023, 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., at FEU Manila and Makati, will be moved on June 3, 2023,” the university said.

The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila also suspended the conduct of its Admission Test on Sunday, May 28.

“Please be advised that the PLMAT scheduled on May 28 is moved to June 4, 2023 in anticipation of the rains brought by Typhoon Mawar,” the school said in a Facebook post.

The weather bureau said “Mawar” may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Friday evening or Saturday morning.

Once inside PAR, the typhoon will be called Betty.
