THE OFFICE of the Student Regent of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines is poised to file a complaint against the Duterte Youth Partylist for threatening students.

The OSR said that it received threats from a staff of the partylist after the student body opposed the proposal of Duterte Youth Rep. Ducielle Cardema to the Defense department to also scrap the agreement between the university and the Department of National Defense like what it did with its accord with the University of the Philippines.

“Hours after the PUP Student Regent and Central Student Council President stormed the office of Duterte Youth Partylist, someone called the line of the SKM President and introduced herself as a staff of Duterte Youth Partylist and inquired if the said number belongs to the student offices responsible in submitting its position paper against the pronouncement made by Rep. Ducielle Cardema,” the OSR said.

The group said that a heated discussion ensued with the caller threatening the student body.

“Take it down! Kung hindi, hahanapin namin kayo! Yari kayo sa amin!” the caller said.

The OSR slammed the partylist for resorting to threats.

It said that the students will pursue legal action against the Duterte Youth group.
