PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte greeted the Benguet State University on its 35th anniversary, lauding the school for its commitment to provide quality education for the youth in Cordillera Region.

“For decades, BSU has remained steadfast in its commitment to provide quality education to our young Filipinos in the Cordillera Region. I join you in celebrating this occasion that affirms the vital role of academic institutions in fostering among our youth the values of justice, fairness, and social responsibility,” Duterte said in a letter addressed to the BSU community.

“May the entire academic community become more inspired in promoting excellence and integrity among its students, the faculty, and the school administration,” Duterte said.

“I am confident that your new leadership will further bring honor and distinction to the university and its alumni,” he added.

The school welcomed its 7th president, Felipe Salaing Comilla.
