THE DAVAO del Sur State College finally has its official student publication.

First to be featured in “DSSC Chronicles” was the school’s first president — Dr. Augie Fuentes.

The editorial board and several development communication students joined a seminar-workshop on news and photojournalism prior to the launch.

Fuentes rallied students to be efficient communicators and to relay information clearly.

“It is your role to seek out the unfiltered truth and present it to the public as clear and as honest as possible, for weak messages create bad situations,” Fuentes said.
