DLSU STUDENTS WIN GOLD AWARDS IN SINGAPORE

BUSINESS students from the De La Salle University bagged gold awards for participating in separate competitions organized by the Global Chinese Marketing Federation held at the Marketing Institute of Singapore last month.

BUSINESS students from the De La Salle University bagged gold awards for participating in separate competitions organized by the Global Chinese Marketing Federation held at the Marketing Institute of Singapore last month.

Team Let’s GU composed of Rav Ryan Ocampo, Nurjanjam II Alfad, Gianna Yasmeen Cham, Maria Angelica Pechon, and Eunice Nicolle Uy Tan competed in the Global Brand Planning Competition.

Meanwhile, Team Arrows composed of Madeline Tee, Kent Harvey Iñgel, Sophie Marie Rendon, Ralph Stephen Saavedra, and Danielle Alisson Tan joined the Business Event Planning Competition.

Team Arrows was the second runner-up. It also got the Best Performing Team award.

DLSU said both teams presented their marketing campaigns to a panel for a given brand with one week of preparation.

The groups were supported by the Department of Marketing Management and Advertising, with their mentors, Dustine Mae Gaviño, MMC, and John Laurence Robes, MMC, for GBPC and BEPC, respectively.

Teams from various schools in China, Thailand, Singapore, Tanzania, Taiwan and Sri Lanka joined the competition.
