DLSU STUDENT AMONG YOUTH EXCELLENCE IN SCIENCE AWARDEES

A STUDENT from the De La Salle University Integrated School was named among the Youth Excellence in Science Awardees by the Department of Science and Technology.

Juan Carlos Profeta, a Grade 7 student, was recognized for his achievements in various international competitions.

The award was given to exemplary students from the primary and secondary education levels who won gold, silver, and bronze medals in international STEM competitions in 2022.

Profeta won silver in the Living Maths Olympiad 2023 and bronze in the Noetic Math Learning Contest 2023.

He also emerged as the champion in the Piano Junior Category of the Southeast Asian Regional Finals in Hong Kong and the International European Music Competition.
