A PROFESSOR from the De La Salle University won first prize in the Sanaysay category of the Saranggola Blog Awards 2022 organized by the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

Mark Anthony Salvador was recognized for his essay titled “Pagdama sa mga Saglit.”

Saranggola Blog Awards was established by real estate worker Bernard Umali with support from the CCP, DMCI Homes and Golden Leaf Productions.

A graduate of the Philippine Normal University, Bernard launched the SBA to give Filipino bloggers a venue to present their blogs in Tagalog.

The award-giving body aims “to recognize bloggers who has shown exemplary Filipino compositions and has opened the conversation for how Filipino literature can transform, influence, and excite the virtual world.”
