DLSU PROF GIVEN RECOGNITION IN RINENG YOUNG INVESTIGATOR AWARD

A De La Salle University professor was among the global winners of the 2024 Results in Engineering Young Investigator Award.

Dr. Joenel Galupino was recognized for his study titled “Developing a Framework for Estimating Spatial Geotechnical Properties with a case of Metro Manila, Philippines.”

The award is granted to early career independent researchers who received their doctorate or equivalent degree within 12 years at the time of the submission deadline last December 31.

To be eligible for the award, candidates should meet the following criteria:

*Be an independent researcher (tenure-track or tenured faculty members, or equivalent)
*Be actively pursuing research within the engineering/technology field, and have demonstrated outstanding research performance in the field.
*Be at mid-career (for DS Award) or early stage (for YI Award) of their independent career at the time of the submission deadline of December 31st, 2023)
*The candidate can be nominated by senior professionals with a letter of recommendation from the nominator.

RINENG is a journal under Elsevier and given to early-career or mid-career independent researchers demonstrating outstanding research performance from all aspects of Engineering (Aerospace, Bioengineering, Chemical, Materials, Civil and Environmental, Electrical, Energy, Industrial and Manufacturing, and Mechanical).
