DLSU IS NRCP RECIPIENT FOR OUTSTANDING INSTITUTIONS AWARD

THE NATIONAL Research Council of the Philippines named De La Salle University as recipient of the 2022 NRCP Outstanding Institutions Award.

DLSU Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Health Technologies and the Center for Engineering and Sustainable Development Research was recognized during NRCP Annual Scientific Conference.

Citing NRCP, the award is given to institutions which have dedicated support and initiatives that led to the advancement of basic sciences, the humanities and the arts in the country.

Dr. Ador Torneo, Full Professor of the Department of Political Science and Development Studies, and Director of the Jesse Robredo Institute of Governance, was given the 2022 NRCP Achievement Award for Research on Governmental, Educational and International Policies.

NCRP said the award is the highest recognition given by the Council to its members for their notable achievements in the fields of natural sciences, health sciences, engineering, industry, social sciences, humanities or other human endeavors.

The awarding ceremony was held at the Philippine International Convention Center last March 10.
