A STUDENT from the De La Salle University Integrated School was among the recipients of the Youth Excellence in Science Award given by the Department of Science and Technology Science Education Institute.

Grade 8 Ma. Graciella Agatha Vedar was recognized for her remarkable achievements in various international STEM Olympiads and competitions.

The YES Award is a prestigious acknowledgment reserved for individuals who have exhibited exceptional talents and achievements in the realm of science.

Meanwhile, Vedar won the silver award in International Mathematics Olympiad IMEC 2024 National Round.

She also secured bronze award in Bebras Challenge 2024 Final Round and New Century Hope Cup Math Invitational Competition.
