DLSU FACULTY MEMBERS ELECTED TO FPAAA LEADERSHIP
THREE faculty members from De La Salle University were elected to key leadership positions in the Fulbright-Philippine Agriculture Alumni Association.
Dr. Aristotle Ubando, a full professor from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, was elected as president.
Dr. Ma. Carmen Lagman, also a full professor from the Department of Biology, was elected as treasurer.
Meanwhile, University Fellow Prof. Susan Gallardo was named public relations officer.
The election took place last week at the Astoria Plaza in Pasig City.
FPAAA, comprising over 250 members from the Philippines and the United States, represents alumni of the Fulbright-Philippines Agriculture Scholarship Program.
The program, administered by the Philippine-American Educational Foundation, promotes educational exchange to advance the modernization of the Philippines’ agriculture and fisheries sectors.
