DLSU-D SHIFTS GRADUATE PROGRAMS TO TRIMESTER BASIS
THE DE LA SALLE University Dasmariñas announced that all graduate programs will be transitioning to a trimestral basis starting Academic Year 2023-2024.
“We are excited to share with you a significant change that will take effect starting Term 1 of the Academic Year 2023-2024,” the Center for Student Admissions posted in the official announcement.
“In our continuous pursuit of academic excellence and response to the evolving needs of our students, we have decided to transition ALL Graduate Programs to a Trimestral Basis,” it added.
Dr. Leo Manansala, director of the College of Business Administration and Accountancy Graduate Studies, said that offering a trimester system to graduate students “gives flexibility and life-work-study balance” not only for students but also for faculty members.
“Students can finish their GS studies faster which is essential for them because they are working and finishing the GS at the earliest possible time will give them the opportunity to reap the return of their investments as earlier as well after being promoted by completing the GS,” he said.
“Trimester system also benefits the university as it can maximize its resources and update its position in the competition for graduate program offerings,” he added.
