DLSU-D RENEWS PARTNERSHIP WITH ECOWASTE COALITION
THE De La Salle University-Dasmariñas renewed its partnership with Ecowaste Coalition for the conduct of environmental research.
A one-year agreement was signed between key officials of DLSU-D and Ecowaste Coalition.
“The renewed collaboration seeks to strengthen research initiatives aimed at preserving marine ecosystems and safeguarding the well-being of communities reliant on coastal resources,” the university said.
Last year, DLSU-D, Ecowaste, and the Korea International Cooperation Agency, completed a research project on marine litter for the NCR and CALABARZON regions.
The research highlighted the impact of the ‘sachet economy’ and the surge in single-use utensils during the pandemic.
During the event, DLSU-D was represented by its President, Br. Francisco Dela Rosa VI FSC, and Vice Chancellor for Academic and Research Dr. Cristina Salibay. Ecowaste was represented by its National Coordinator, Aileen Sison.
