DLSU-D BAGS REGIONAL PANATA SA BAYAN AWARD

THE Department of Social Welfare and Development Region IV-A recognized the De La Salle University-Dasmariñas for its exceptional contributions in providing for a better opportunity for the disadvantaged sectors.

The university clinched the Salamat Po Award for the Most Outstanding Volunteer in DSWD Centers/Residential Care Facilities category.

It received the award at the recently held Panata Ko Sa Bayan Awards.

DLSU-D’s Vice President for Mission and Formation Jose Ritche Bongcaron, Lasallian Community Development Center Director Dr. Socorro Grace M. Red, LCDC Faculty in charge of Bahay Tuluyan Maria Nena Caspe, accepted the award in behalf of the university.

Citing DSWD, DLSU-D was commended for its exemplary performance and dedication to the role of volunteerism in development, protection, and promotion rights of various sectors.

The Panata ko Sa Bayan Award aims to inspire individuals, groups, and organizations to devote their time, resources, and selves to enhance service delivery and create better opportunities across various sectors.
