DLSU CONFIRMS STUDENT FALLS FROM BUILDING

DE LA SALLE  University confirmed on Friday that a student was hospitalized after falling one floor from a building on its campus.

In a statement, the university said the student was immediately attended to by medical personnel at the University Clinic, where first aid was administered.

Following initial treatment, the student was transferred to a nearby hospital for further evaluation, with university medical staff accompanying them during the transfer.

DLSU said school administrators are coordinating closely with the student’s guardian to ensure that the necessary support is provided.

“Out of respect for the student’s well-being and the family’s privacy during this sensitive time, we ask for everyone’s cooperation in maintaining a supportive and compassionate environment,” the university said.

The school emphasized that the safety and welfare of its students remain its highest priority.

DLSU also urged the Lasallian community and the public to avoid spreading unverified information.

“We urge the Lasallian community and the general public to refrain from circulating unverified information or engaging in speculation regarding the circumstances of this incident,” the statement added.
