DLSU AMONG WORLD’S BEST UNIVERSITIES IN 7 SUBJECT AREAS

FOR the fourth straight year, the De La Salle University was included in the world’s best universities in subject areas, the 2024 Times Higher Education Rankings revealed.

FOR the fourth straight year, the De La Salle University was included in the world’s best universities in subject areas, the 2024 Times Higher Education Rankings revealed.

DLSU’s Education subject ranked 501-600 while its Business and Economics, Computer Science and Social Sciences was in the 801-1,000 bracket.

Meanwhile, Arts and Humanities subject landed in the 601+ spot and Engineering and Physical Science in 1,001.

Dr. Cynthia Cudia, associate dean of the Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business, congratulated the college for its commitment to engage stakeholders, pioneering innovations and pursuing impactful initiatives.

Dr. Arlene Inocencio, the dean of the School of Economics, acknowledged the collective effort of the academic community.

Meanwhile, Dr. Ethel Ong, Dean of the College of Computer Studies, emphasized the importance of continuous improvement to maintain the college’s leading status.

Dr. John Addy Garcia, dean of the Br. Andrew Gonzalez FSC College of Education, highlighted the significance of world rankings in remaining competitive and responsive to stakeholders while Dr. Kathleen Aviso, dean of the Gokongwei College of Engineering, recognized the need for improvement and encouraged innovative strategies to stay globally competitive.

Dr. Mary Jane Flores, dean of the College of Science, urged the community to push the boundaries in physical sciences and uphold DLSU’s core values.

Dr. Rhoderick Nuncio, dean of the College of Liberal Arts, said that their inclusion in the Arts and Humanities subject rankings affirms their pursuit of outstanding publications and creative works.
