A VIDEO showing a student disrespecting her teacher enraged netizens in Cagayan Valley.

Those who viewed the video slammed the student for insulting a professor of the Cagayan State University during a webinar.

The video went viral and was also posted by The Cagayan State University Communicator, the university’s official publication.

“Sir paano mahuhulog ‘yan sir ayan nandito sa MS Teams… abnormal ka kamukha mo si Duterte,” the student said .

Netizens who saw the video said they felt ”disheartened.”

“It is very disheartening to hear that students continue to ridicule our teachers despite their valiant efforts,” a netizen commented.

“Kung sino ka mang estudyante ka you better drop all your subjects and do not attend classes anymore,” another netizen also said.

“Wala Kang respeto sa teacher Wala ka Rin cgurong respeto sa magulang mo,” added another netizen.

The publication condemned the student’s ‘impudent behavior’.

“The CSU Communicator strongly condemns all forms of maligning and distasteful acts towards the teachers. Any form of misbehavior against anybody is not tolerable, more so to the teachers who are doing their noble profession,” the publication said.

“Being respectful and being kind are the simplest acts we could do as decent human beings,” it added.
