DHVSU WARNS VS HOLDING OF UNSANCTIONED ACTIVITIES
THE DON Honorio Ventura State University warned students that it will not tolerate unsanctioned activities as well as groups or organizations that were not accredited by the school.
In a statement on Monday, DHVSU said that its goal is to help develop students to become law-abiding citizens.
“This has always been the continuing mission and vision of the university, to prepare its learners to meet and prevail over any and all challenges that may come their way,” DVHSU School of Law Dean David Robert Aquino said.
“DVHSU therefore strongly condemns, in no uncertain terms, unaccredited organizations or associations, whose unsanctioned conduct of activities within the University campus, greatly undermine the sacred trust of teaching that is reposed in this institution,” Aquino added.
The university issued the statement weeks after Adamson University student John Matthew Salilig died following the initiation rites of a fraternity.
