THE DEPARTMENT of Education-Bicol is set to hold the 2023 Regional Festival of Talents on June 16-18 in coordination with the Schools Division Office of Albay.

The opening ceremony will be held at the Daraga National High School, with DepEd Bicol Director Gilbert Sadsad, Assistant Director Bebiano Sentillas, and Daraga Mayor Awin Baldo as special guests of honor.

The event has the theme ‘Reinforcing 21st Century Learning and Fostering Creative Industries through Talents and Skills Exhibition’.

DepEd-Bicol said the festival aims to provide an inclusive platform for learners from both public and private elementary, secondary schools, Alternative Learning System, and Indigenous People Education to demonstrate their exceptional abilities and talents.

Sadsad said the festival is an excellent opportunity for learners to explore their passion.

“It underscores the commitment of DepEd Bicol to nurturing holistic development and fostering a culture of lifelong learning among its students,” he added.
