DEADLINE FOR UNIFAST APPLICATION EXTENDED TO SEPT 15

/ 9 September 2020

THE DEADLINE for the submission of applications for college assistance had been extended because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Lawyer Ryan Estevez, Executive Director of the Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education, extended the deadline until Sept. 15, 2020.

“Cognizant of the difficulties brought about by the pandemic and the differring schedules of enrollment, the UniFAST Secretariat finds the appeals meritorious and hereby approve the said requests. Please be informed that the deadline of submission of TES applications is extended until September 15, 2020,” he said in a memorandum.

Under Republic Act 10931, also known as the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act, students can apply for financial assistance to enroll in colleges and universities.
