DAVAO ORIENTAL STATE U IMPLEMENTS HEALTH BREAK

/ 27 November 2022

THE DAVAO Oriental State University will be having a mental health break to give its community a breather from academics.

The move was in response by the DorSU Office of the President to calls by University Student Council for a break.

The council noted the series of activities conducted by the university has been tiring and a week-long breather is needed.

The break will be from November 28 to December 3.

“Hence, there shall be no synchronous and asynchronous classes – or class activities during the period above. The submission deadlines that coincide with the Mental Health Break shall be rescheduled until the following week,” DorSU said.

Office transactions are also suspended, but frontline offices will have an alternative work scheme, including the Health Services Unit and University Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office.
