SUMAKABILANG-BUHAY na ang dating dean ng University of the Philippines College of Mass Communication at retired journalist na si Luis Teodoro.

“Maraming salamat sa iyong paglingkod sa bayan. Mahal ka namin. We join our friends and colleagues in communication and media in mourning the passing of Professor Luis V. Teodoro, our Dean from 1994 to 2000,” pahayag ng UP CMC.

“As educator, editor, and journalist, Dean Teodoro was pivotal in fostering academic excellence in our discipline, upholding integrity in the practice of media, and defending our freedoms of the press, speech, and assembly,” dagdag pa nito.

Magsasagawa ang UP CMC ng service para kay Dean Teodoro sa Plaridel Hall.

Ayon kay UP professor Danilo Arao, pumanaw si Teodoro dahil sa atake sa puso.

Naglingkod si Teodor bilang dean ng UP CMC sa loob ng dalawang termino.

Nagpaabot din ng pakikiramay sa pamilya at kaibigan ng journalist ang komunidad ng UP CMC.

“He was a mentor and a friend. More than that, his stewardship helped produce highly ethical, dedicated journalists. He shall be missed. Condolences to all of us who believe,” wika ng UP CMC.

Ayon sa UP Press, si Teodoro ay naging vice-chair ng Commission on Higher Education’s Technical Panel on Communication and the Social Sciences. Bago ito, siya ang tagapangulo ng Technical Committee on Journalism Education ng CHED.
