CVSU GETS FREE ACCESS TO RESEARCH LIBRARIES

/ 19 February 2021

THE DEPARTMENT of Science and Technology’s Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development gave Cavite State University access to two top science information providers.

Faculty and students of CvSU were given access to Science Direct and Scopus, two known information providers.

“Both of the faculty researchers and students conducting their research works and theses shall benefit from this accessibility especially during the review of literature stage of their research works for they could access the needed literature from both the local and international publications,” CvSU Vice President for Research and Extension Melbourne Talactac said.

“Another advantage is that the research publications from both information providers are reliable and peer-reviewed by experts in their respective fields of specialization,” Talactac added.

Faculty and students with official CvSU email can register and create their own accounts on the platforms.

Instructions on how to access the sites can be seen through the link: http://library.cvsu.edu.ph:82/ScienceDirect.php.

For inquiries, students and faculty could send an email to CvSU-Main Library email ([email protected]) or send a message through their official Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/cvsulibrary.
