DR. HERNANDO Robles, president of the Cavite State University, said that the school’s Board of Regents approved the offering of a Doctor of Medicine course on the first semester of Academic Year 2022-2023.

Graduates of pre-medicine courses who passed the National Medical Admission Test can apply for the program.

The NMAT is a standardized test developed to improve the selection of applicants for medical school entrance in the Philippines. It grew out of a popular need to select qualified candidates for medical school.

The pre-medicine courses CvSU offers include nursing, medical technology, biology and psychology.

Meanwhile, CvSU held a groundbreaking ceremony for its university hospital on April 27.

Medical, medical technology and nursing students will use the teaching hospital as a laboratory. It will also be the community hospital for the residents.
