COMELEC’S REGISTER ANYWHERE PROGRAM HELD IN NATIONAL U
THE COMMISSION on Elections held its Register Anywhere Program inside the National University campus in an effort to bring the voter registration accessible to people.
According to NU, the RAP was held last March 5 in the said educational institution which aims to ease the registration process of the voters.
Comelec Chairman George Garcia reminded the students and employees of the importance of voting and emphasized that voting is a right of the Filipino citizens.
He assured that Comelec will keep on exploring innovations to make the process more convenient and comfortable to the people.
Meanwhile, NU President and CEO, Dr. Renato Carlos Ermita Jr. encouraged students to make use of the service given by the Comelec.
The event also included Voter’s Education Seminar, focusing on Voter’s Rights and Responsibilities.
