COLLABORATION IN THE WORKS AFTER UP VISAYAS VISIT BY INDONESIAN AMBASSADOR
THE UNIVERSITY of the Philippines Visayas recently hosted Indonesia Ambassador to the Philippines Agus Widjojo.
The visit was aimed to discuss potential collaborations in the future with the university.
“An intimate gathering took place at the College of Management, where the deans of the various colleges introduced their respective programs to the Ambassador’s entourage,” UPV announced.
“Ms. Aisyah Edna Palupi, Education Attachè, also introduced several scholarship programs that Indonesia is currently offering,” it added.
The embassy, according to the UPV, also offers short-term courses for Filipinos who wish to learn Bahasa Indonesia or Indonesian.
Among those who attended the meeting were UPV Chancellor Clement Camposano and school officials, as well as executives of the embassy.
Meanwhile, members of the University Student Council were invited to the meeting to see what opportunities students from the university can pursue in the future.
