CMU DELISTED FOR FREE TUITION GRANT
THE CITY of Malabon University said that it has been taken off the list of the Commission on Higher Education’s free education program.
The school failed to submit on time documents needed for the university’s Institutional Recognition for the free education program.
CMU said that the problem, passed down from the former administration, will deeply affect its operations.
The same problem on documents also scrapped the plan of the university to hold physical graduation rites at the Philippine International Convention Center.
The school said that the physical graduation rites for Batch 2022 will continue but in a different venue.
“Rest assured this challenge will not stop us from having a meaningful commencement ceremony to formally confer the University degrees of our graduates who have worked hard and spent hours studying to arrive at this moment,” CMU said.
“We are very proud of your achievements and the challenge we face will not stop CMU from honoring each of our graduates and your family,” it added.
