CLSU PROF EMERITUS NAMED 2025 OUTSTANDING PROFESSIONAL IN AGRICULTURE
A PROFESSOR Emeritus and former University President of Central Luzon State University has been recognized as the 2025 Outstanding Professional in Agriculture by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Dr. Edgar Orden was honored for his significant contributions to animal science and his leadership in national initiatives such as the National Dairy Goat Program and the Slaughter Goat Program.
Under his guidance, these programs produced key technologies that boosted the productivity and potential of the country’s goat industry.
He was also recognized for conceptualizing the Technology Village Program, an agribusiness and innovation hub that has made lasting contributions to community development.
In addition to the award, Dr. Orden was shortlisted as a finalist for the prestigious Eric C. Nubla Excellence Award, which honors professionals for exceptional competence, integrity, and service to society.
