CLSU PARTNERS WITH AMPC FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY
THE Central Luzon State University partnered with the ASKI Multi-Purpose Cooperative to solidify its commitment to environmental sustainability and effective waste management.
Through its Institute of Climate Change and Environmental Management, the school signed a memorandum of agreement with AMPC earlier this week.
“This partnership will directly support the implementation of Ecological Solid Waste Management of the university by collecting PET bottles, high-density polyethylene or polythene, aluminum materials, and other recyclable materials,” CLSU said.
CLSU president Dr. Evaristo Abella thanked AMPC for the timely collaboration that will enable the school to transform waste into resources.
He also highlighted that this engagement will also impact the students in terms of “increased awareness and responsible use and consumption of recyclable materials through educational campaigns.”
Meanwhile, AMPC chairman Carlito Dela Cruz Jr. said that the three-year partnership will further strengthen the initiatives of both parties in waste management and environmental protection.
