CITY OF MALABON UNIVERSITY TO STUDENTS: BE INTERACTIVE
THE CITY of Malabon University urged students to be more interactive during online classes to generate discussions that would help them understand their lessons better.
The university also advised students to use learning management systems for easy access and submission of academic materials. It said digital tools can help them in their online studies.
The school appealed to students and educators to be flexible and understanding of the situation.
“Even though we are in the digital age, it can’t be assumed that everyone has easy access to reliable internet. As educators rush to create digital learning environments, keep notice of who is engaging in the online environment,” CMU said.
It acknowledged that this is not the best time to assess students’ knowledge.
“It should be of comfort to know that online proctoring is well-established, reliable, and easy to implement,” the school said.
“Remember, this is only temporary, and it’s an opportunity to explore how education can change and adapt through different modes of delivery,” it added.
