CITY OF MALABON U TRAINS MOTHERS ON GADGET USE

/ 13 July 2021

THE CITY of Malabon University partnered with the Longos Elementary School to train mothers on the use of gadgets and software amid the continued implementation of distance learning.

The project was spearheaded by CMU’s College of Teacher Education, Dean Prof. Maria Luisa V. Tongco,

Under “Nanay Tutorials v2.0,” 50 mothers have completed their training. Malabon Mayor Antolin A. Oreta led the handing of certificates to the mothers.

“The E-Nanay Tutorials v2.0…is an initiative that educates parents (mostly moms) of elementary students in utilizing essential software and gadgets needed for their children’s online classes,” CMU said on its website.

“E-Nanay graduates can now keep up with the fast-paced technology that used to be a challenge for them, due to their lack of skills needed and full understanding of e-learning tools and applications,” it added.

OJT students from CMU also helped with the implementation of the project.
