CITY OF MALABON U STUDENTS TO GET SMART SIM CARDS

/ 10 January 2021

STUDENTS of the City of Malabon University will receive a dedicated Smart sim card to help them with distance learning amid the Covid19 pandemic.

The good news came after the university entered a partnership with Smart to give students their own official phone numbers during their stay in CMU.

The sim cards will have an initial load balance worth 500 pesos.

“As part of our city Mayor Len Len Oreta’s project, these sim cards will be loaded with 500 pesos worth of load to be used by the students to ease their virtual learning experience with CMU,” the school said on Facebook.

The sim cards will be distributed per college from January 11 to 15.

“No student will be allowed to enter the university to claim their sim cards outside their scheduled claiming of sim cards,” CMU added.

Students are advised to observe minimum health standards upon entering the campus premises and bring a photocopy of their government-issued ID with signatures on the paper.

Once received, the sim cards should be activated to receive the latest news from CMU.
