CITY COLLEGE OF SJDM, BULACAN: ALL STUDENTS TO HAVE PROPER EDUCATION

/ 24 August 2020

THE CITY College of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan assured that all students will have access to proper education amid the Covid19 pandemic.

City College Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Roger Ambida launched the Flexible Asynchronous Remote eLearning which commits to “deliver unhampered teaching and learning activities; thus, enabling learners to meet the course outcomes.”

Students can still access education even without the internet as the CCSJDM will adapt to their capabilities.

Under the FARel, “whether the student has full or stable, partial or moderate or no internet connectivity at all, City College utilizes learning tools the students are familiar with. Teachers have prepared learning packs/packets/modules that are essentially customized to address the need of the CCSJDM learning environment.”

The City College will provide all the modules for the students and assured formulated measures to make sure “no student is left behind.”

CCSJDM General Education Director Richmond Charles Viray said that students with no internet connection may only submit modules during the midterms and finals while the student affairs office will handle other submission requirements.

“‘Yung sa submissions si student affairs na ang bahala, puwedeng may leader na isa lang mag-submit dun sa scheduled time ng submission, ang module naman ay midterm and finals ang submission,” said Viray.

Students can enroll with only P100 as  down payment because “it understands the current situation.”

The college is also conducting webinars on coping with the new normal education for parents and teachers on its Facebook page and YouTube channel.

As of now, the school has 500 freshmen and 238 sophomore students.

CCSJDM classes will start on August 24.
