THE COMMISSION on Higher Education recognized Xavier University for its internationalization initiatives that led to its inclusion in the 2021 Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings.

CHED gave the university a plaque of recognition for demonstrating the highest quality of education.

XU is one of the 14 Philippine universities in the list of Asia’s best higher education institutions.

CHED also noted XU’s international visibility because of its university-to-university academic programs and research, study visits, foreign scholarships, international fairs and conferences, student and faculty exchanges and strategic partnerships and linkages.

XU said its notable achievements and significant contributions in implementing the CHED-initiated project “Fostering World Class Philippine University” boosted its global presence and cultivated its reputation as a global university which brought pride and honor to Region 10.

The award was given to XU during CHED Region 10’s Regional Quality Awards Program.
