CHED GIVES CAPIZ STATE U MODERNIZATION FUNDS

THE CAPIZ State University received a P10-million grant from the Commission on Higher Education for its modernization.

CapSU said that the money will be used to acquire computer sets for its library and strengthen the internet connectivity in its nine campuses.

The university said the grant will boost its operations.

“The students, administration, faculty, and staff of Capiz State University are grateful to the Commission on Higher Education,” CapSU said on Facebook.

“This grant is a huge boost on the university’s efforts to upgrade the IT infrastructure of the libraries and provide faculty and students with the technologies needed in the delivery of online and blended instruction. Thank you, CHED!” it added.

CHED and the University of the Philippines Open University also selected CapSU as one of the recipients of the First Philippine Higher Education Internationalization Award.
