CHED ALLOWS UNIVERSITY OF ST. LA SALLE TO HOLD F2F CLASSES
THE COMMISSION on Higher Education has approved the request of the University of St. La Salle in Bacolod City to hold limited face-to-face classes for all its degree programs.
The USL said it received a Certification of Authority from CHED for complying with the guidelines and health protocols to resume physical classes for 63 programs.
The authority to hold physical classes is subject to revocation if the school fails to maintain and to comply with the rules and regulations on face-to-face classes.
CHED Chairman Prospero De Vera III earlier said that 313 higher education institutions have resumed in-person classes covering at least 1,000 degree programs.
De Vera expressed optimism that more schools will hold physical classes this year with the easing of pandemic restrictions.
