CHED ALLOWS SAN PEDRO COLLEGE TO CONDUCT F2F CLASSES

/ 16 September 2021

THE COMMISSION on Higher Education has allowed Davao-based San Pedro College to conduct limited face-to-face classes in its allied health courses starting Academic Year 2021-2022.

SPC said that it was given the go signal after it complied with the requirements set by the commission.

Representatives from CHED, the Department of Health and the local government unit of Davao conducted an ocular inspection of the campus in August.

It added that its Crisis Management Committee handled the preparations to reopen its doors to students who will take their internship program in its Physical Therapy and Medical Laboratory Science courses.

“The committee conducted series of meetings to evaluate the readiness of the institution’s different allied health programs. In these meetings, the deans of the various departments decided to apply for the limited face-to-face internship of their programs,” SPC said.

“Despite the pandemic and the rising demand for healthcare professionals, SPC is reinvigorated to provide further quality and well-equipped medical front liners for the future,” it added.
