A GROUP of communications students and alumni from the Centro Escolar University won in the 35th Gawad CCP Para sa Alternatibong Pelikula at Video.

The Blue Dreams Productions placed second in the short feature category for the film “RRRWGHHRW (Carabao Noises).”

The film tells the story of Eloy Macapagat, a grade school student who aspires to be an actor and his experience of being a carabao in a school play.

It was directed by Kyla Dela Peña.

The film festival is the longest-running independent film competition of its kind in Asia.

It annually recognizes Filipino filmmakers and their works in four categories: animation, documentary, experimental, and short feature.
