AN OFFICIAL from the Centro Escolar University Malolos was appointed as ambassador for the Philippines by the International Association of Contact Lens Educators.

Dr. Maria Concepcion Anda, program head of the Department of Optometry, will help identify new institutions and educators that will promote membership and support various IACLE initiatives.

Anda will also actively engage in local activities and align them with global initiatives through regular collaboration with IACLE staff.

IACLE is the leading provider of educational and informational materials vital for contact lens educators on a global scale.

To become an IACLE ambassador, an individual must hold a full or associate membership and must have a good standing for a minimum of two years.

He or she must actively participate in IACLE programs and utilize its resources in an effective manner.
